Twelfth Gambler’s Classic Completes Sesely Weekend Sweep; Holds Off Lichty, Cicconi At End After Leading From Start To Finish
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Jan. 25) – Anthony Sesely’s domination of Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City continued Saturday night when Sesely powered his No.16 600 Micro Sprint to a convincing victory in the climatic Gamblers Classic 40-lap main event. It was Sesely’s second straight win in the prestigious race and his third straight inside Boardwalk Hall.
“This is unbelievable,” Sesely, of Matawan, N.J., said. “It is what racing is all about.”
Sesely led all 40 of the laps after drawing the pole position, a draw earned as one of the previous night’s top eight feature finishers, a race he also won.

Sesely Starts A Perfect NAPA Know How Racing Weekend In Boardwalk Hall With Friday TQ Win
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Anthony Sesely of Matawan, N.J., won Friday night’s NAPA Know How Indoor TQ 30-lap feature inside Atlantic City, N.J.’s Boardwalk Hall after outdueling Ted Christopher of Plainville, Ct., in a mid-race showdown.
Christopher led the first seven laps of the feature until Sesely worked his way under his long time, bitter Indoor racing rival. The two ran nose to tail through lap thirteen when following a restart they tangled, snapping one of Christopher’s car’s tie rods, ending his night. Sesely escaped unscathed and led to the finish.

CAPPS EAGER TO HELP NAPA PROMOTE 2014 AC INDOOR RACE
Ron Capps enjoys all forms of motorsports but rarely gets as excited about attending one like he is about being at the 12th annual NAPA Know How Atlantic City Indoor Midget Car Race on Jan. 24-25 in fabled Boardwalk Hall.
“I grew up reading Chris Economaki’s National Speed Sport News and remember in the winter reading his stories about the indoor Midget races back East but never thought I’d be able to get to the East Coast to see any,” said Capps, a lifelong Californian.

Popular Pennsylvanian Zane Zeiner, whose career achievements in outdoor Stock Car racing are wide ranging, will make his debut indoors this winter as a Three Quarter Midget entrant in the NAPA KNOW HOW Atlantic City and the Battle Of Trenton Indoor races presented by PRC Industries/ Angela House Charity, Indoor races.
The two Len Sammons Motorsports Productions events are scheduled two weeks apart. Indoor racing inside Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall is now in its 12th consecutive year of action. Dates are Friday and Saturday January 24 and 25, 2014.The Trenton Sun National Bank Center schedule calls for Twin 20 lap features for the TQ Midgets and compete program of Slingshots on Friday, Feb. 8 and a compete program for TQ Midgets and Champ Karts on Saturday, Feb. 9.

A formerly little-known race car builder in upstate Ransomville, New York has become the most sought after constructor of Indoor Three quarter Midget cars based on past performance. Mark Lafler has built no less than ten new TQ Midgets for the 2014 Len Sammons Motorsports Productions Indoor season which consists of the NAPA KNOW HOW Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall Races scheduled for Friday and Saturday January 24 and 25 and the first annual Battle Of Trenton Indoor Races presented by PRC Industries/ Angela House Charity planned for February 7 and 8, 2014. Fatheadz Eyewear will be returning as the series sponsor and will pay bonuses to the top three overall TQ Midget drivers from the two race series. Drivers will receive points based on their qualifying efforts and feature finishes from Friday and Saturday night at both events towards the overall series crown. “It’s been a busy year,” understated Mark Lafler. “I’m a one man shop but I was able to turn out a car a month.
